Tokyo Kabocha is a traditional Japanese variety.
The first Western pumpkin in Japan was grown in 1934 by the Watanabe seed farm in Miyagi. Farmers in Tachikawa shipped it to the Tokyo market, where it became popular and was called Tokyo pumpkin. 

Yao Pagi was grown on farmland in Cianjur West Java. We have repeatedly collected seeds and grown them to adapt to the local climate.
